I've honestly never seen anything sweeter than a newborn tight up against her mommy's chest. My personal opinion is that a ring sling is the universal carrier.
If someone
asks me what I'd recommend for them, I always say that he/she can start
with a sling and work up from there. You can wear an hour-old newborn to
keep her close, you can wear an 8 month old infant in the grocery store
or you can wear your 30lb toddler for snuggles. I occasionally wear my 40lb daughter- not for long periods of time but its still very possible for me to wear her. From a chest carry to
hip carry to back carry, this is a sure bet for babywearing.

pattern(s).
I will deliver locally (Peoria) or you may arrange for a meet-up
location so I can teach you how to use your new sling.
